Document description: How To: Join Kinetic measurements together

When taking multiple kinetics measurements (perhaps with dispensing in between measurements), the results will appear in separate matrices. You may want to analyse two separate kinetic measurements as one. The Kinetic Join transform can combine two kinetic matrices into one.

When using this transform set the X axis unde the Kinetic Data tab as Cycle or Time as required.

The Kinetic Join transform is installed with WorkOut 2.5 and Manta 2.5.

For earlier versions the transform is contained is a module available for download from here.

To install this DLL make sure you are using build 314 or later.

Unzip and copy the DLL to the installation folder, then from Start | Run type:

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Dazdaq\WorkOut 2.0\K3Trans.dll"

(Update the path if you are using a different installation folder)

Press return and you should see a succeeded message.

Next time you open a kinetic results file you will see new transforms available. One is Kinetic Join (note when selecting a Page not displayed message will appear – that is not a problem)

You can use the Kinetic Join transform to join two kinetic measurements together. (Note, it will only work on wells where data is read in both matrices.)
