A Standard Curve Fit transform fits a curve to Standard measurements plotted against specified concentrations. The resulting curve is then used to read off calculated concentration values.

You may also be interested in analysing certain parameters of the fit. For example, you may want to check that the MSE of the fit is within a defined range.

The fit parameters are available as matrix output variables and these can be used in any of the software’s expressions. For example, to check that the MSE of the Standard Curve Fit is < 0.0001:

Create a new Validation Expression transform and under the Expression tab, enter:

#1.MSE < 0.0001

The number after the # indicates the transform number (here the Standard Curve Fit transform is the first transform) and the variable after the . is the fit parameter.  Entering this condition in the Validation Expression will test this condition and alert if it fails.

The fit parameters available will depend on your selected fit (see below).

Since these parameters are available wherever an expression can be entered you can use them as parameters to transforms for flexible analysis, such as validation, auto-flag, setting range, etc.
