How can I find a peak ignoring blips?

Document description: How To: Find a peak ignoring blips.

If you get a "blip" in your measurements then you can flag the individual kinetic point and it will be disregarded in the calculations. To flag individual kinetic cycles go to the Data tab, double click on the well to view the kinetic chart, and then select the Flag icon and click the mouse to flag points. Give a reason for the flagging if required and press Recalculate.

If you get many "blips" then it would be possible to set up more advanced analysis to automatically avoid them in your peak analysis. You could do this by setting up a Maximum Slope transform (using 3 or more regression points) and then add the Peak transform but only consider the range of points after the maximum slope has been reached.
