I want to import time data which uses a different regional separator.

Document ID: DQ174
Relevant to following products: WorkOut 2.0 Manta
Document description: How to: import time data (of the format HH:MM:SS.MS) which uses a different regional separator.

The import process can handle different decimal separators for importing measurements and it will use the decimal separator, as specified in the regional settings of the Windows Control Panel. When reading in times, in the HH:MM:SS.MS format, it expects a “.” separator between seconds and milliseconds. However, to use a different decimal separator for importing times the import script can be edited to include the command:

SetDecSeparator (“,”)

For example, to import your raw text file which uses the comma separator, edit the “VICTOR2 kinetics well plate repeat.mis” file and add

SetDecSeparator (",");

within the <Import> section.
