The software crashes on File | Save Protocol after entering an invalid filename and then saving.

Document ID: DQ118
Relevant to following products: WorkOut 2.0 Manta
Document description: Error: MRunRes crash on File | Save Protocol after entering an invalid filename and then saving.

With builds prior to 294, on selecting File | Save Protocol and then entering a path which is invalid, such as:

\path\name

Windows will display a message box warning "Path does not exist". Pressing OK will allow you to enter a new path to save. If at this stage you navigate to a new directory, such as the Desktop, then when you press Save the file will not be saved correctly and the software will crash.

This problem is fixed in builds 294 and later, if you are using an earlier build then upgrade or instead as a workaround:

After selecting File | Save Protocol: if a message box such as "Path does not exist" is displayed when pressing the Save button then press Cancel and repeat the File | Save Protocol operation to enter the path correctly or navigate to the desired directory. This "clears" the problem which seems to be caused by entering an invalid path and then changing directory.
