How Can Sample IDs be specified?

The Sample IDs are used to associate user-supplied names with samples defined on the microplate layout. These sample IDs are then used throughout the software to reference those samples. The Sample IDs can be specified as follows:

As part of the protocol so that each time the assay is run the same Sample IDs are used (for research environment). When creating/editing the microplate layout, press the Sample IDs button, the data entered is stored with the microplate layout. Each time the microplate layout is used the specified sample IDs are used by default.

Prior to taking measurements (for routine diagnostics) and after the measurements have been press the Sample ID button to enter the data.

In all cases the Sample ID data can be pasted in from the clipboard.
