How Can WorkOut 2.x be used with LIMS?

Document description: How To: Use WorkOut 2.x with a LIMS?

WorkOut 2.x can be used with LIMS; this is achieved in a number of ways:

Firstly, WorkOut can be automated from the command line to run protocols, start measurements and import data.

When the measurements have been taken and the results processed, the raw and calculated data can automatically be exported to a file (various format options) and an external application launched (being passed this exported file).

The software can be setup so that each time the results are re-calculated (i.e the user makes analysis changes) a new text file is produced to a specified directory and filename (built up from user-specified macros) containing the new results.

Also, the plug-in architecture of WorkOut means that we can easily add new functionality to interact with other applications very quickly. Contact Dazdaq at the email address given above, for more information on this – typically we implement projects which have benefits to other customers at no additional cost, we are also able to offer deliver bespoke projects.
