To use the Lucy 2.0 both the Stingray and Manta software need to be installed. Installing Stingray installs the Lucy 2.0 components which Manta requires and Manta uses the Stingray drivers to control the Lucy 2.0.
If you do not have the Stingray software installed on your PC then you can download it and install it from:
If you have not already installed Manta, install it, during installation ensure the Stingray Driver option is ticked (the others can be unticked)
Next you need to manually copy some files, so using Explorer navigate to the Stingray installation directory, typically:
Right-click on the l2wins directory and select Copy.
Next navigate to the Manta installation directory, typically:
From here select Edit | Paste to copy the directory, so a new directory called:
C:\Program Files\Dazdaq\Manta\l2wins is created.
Now launch Manta. From File | Options select Drivers and ensure the Stingray driver is selected. From the Organiser select Create a new protocol and press OK to start the Generic Wizard. On the Data Acquistion step, press the Create… button. You will be prompted to select which Stingray driver to use – select the Anthos Lucy 2.0 List Edit and press OK to continue. (If you are not prompted to select which Stingray Driver on pressing Create… or you want to use a different Stingray use the Advanced… button and then press Configure.
You should now be able to setup the Lucy 2.0 to take measurements.
